At PromptSafe, we believe your data is your property. This policy explains how we handle your prompts, execution logs, and personal information, with a strict emphasis on zero-data-retention for model training.

1. Data Collection

We collect the minimum amount of information necessary to provide our service:

  • Account Information: Email address, username, and encrypted passwords.
  • Billing Details: Handled entirely by our payment processors. We do not store full credit card numbers.
  • Created Prompts: Text content of prompts you publish or save as drafts.
  • Execution Variables: Temporary retention of the variables you pass into templates during execution.

2. How We Use Data

Your data is used strictly for operational purposes:

  • To execute your requested AI completions.
  • To process transactions and update your credit balance.
  • To display your execution history in your user dashboard.
  • To calculate and distribute earnings to prompt authors.
Critical Guarantee

Neither PromptSafe, nor any of our sub-processors, use your prompts, variables, or generated outputs to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI models.

3. PromptGuard Scanning

Before any prompt reaches a third-party LLM, it passes through our proprietary PromptGuard system.

  • Purpose: To detect and block prompt injection attacks, jailbreaks, and harmful content.
  • Process: The pre-rendered prompt (template + your variables) is analyzed in real-time.
  • Storage: Flagged inputs are stored temporarily for security auditing purposes, but are never used for model training.

4. Third-Party LLMs

We act as an intermediary between you and standard LLM providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google).

By using our service, your executed prompts are routed through these providers. We have enterprise agreements in place with all supported providers that explicitly forbid the use of API-submitted data for model training.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

You have full control over your data lifecycle:

  • Execution Logs: Retained for 30 days to allow you to review your history, then automatically purged.
  • Account Deletion: You can delete your account at any time from the settings page. This triggers an immediate hard-delete of your personal information and execution history.
  • Published Content: Prompts you have published to the marketplace will remain available to users who have purchased access, even if your account is deleted, to prevent breaking their workflows.
